• My daughter is smart, but gross

  This morning, Delaney (age 4) snuggled up to me and her first waking words were:

  Delaney:  After I snort, I cough.

  Me (still half asleep):  Huh?

  Delaney:  After I snort, I cough.  See?  disgusting snorting noise then cough cough

  Me: wow

  Delaney:  Yeah, I snort then I cough.  It's a pattern.
